Will severe weather impact my phone service?
Unlike old copper lines, fiber is weather-resistant and not affected by moisture, lightning-induced surges, or temperature swings the way traditional phone lines can be. Service degradation during storms is minimal. We recommend a battery backup for your on-site equipment so calls keep flowing even during power outages.
Does the business phone service work on mobile phones?
Yes — the Connect with Webex app (included with Executive Seat+) lets you use all your phone system features on iPhone, Android, or laptop. Place calls from your business number, access voicemail, join conference bridges, and more, anywhere you've got an internet connection.
Do you provide VoIP phones, or do I use my own?
VoIP handsets are provided with every Executive Seat+ seat. For the Business Line plan, you can use your existing analog phones — our fiber gateway delivers dial-tone they'll recognize out of the box.
Can I keep my existing business number?
Yes. We handle the number port for you. Just provide your current business number(s) when you sign up, and we'll coordinate the transfer with your current carrier.
What's the difference between Executive Seat+ and Business Line?
Business Line is straightforward fiber dial-tone for businesses that just want reliable, crystal-clear phone service on their existing equipment. Executive Seat+ is a full hosted PBX — auto-attendants, hunt groups, call queues, voicemail-to-email, a mobile/desktop app, and included VoIP phones. If you want advanced call routing or remote/hybrid staff, Executive Seat+ is the one.

How long does installation take?
Most business phone installations are completed within a few business days after your number port is scheduled. Executive Seat+ deployments with more seats, auto-attendants, and call flows take a little longer — we'll give you an exact timeline after we review your setup.
